Felting
Needles
Here
are 6 styles of felting needles for your needle felting projects.
Use the 32 Gauge for
needling coarse fiber such as Romney and for needling hair onto dolls.
Use the 36 Gauge for
needling medium fiber such as Corriedale.
Use 38 Gauge for needling
fine fibers such as Merino.
Use 40 Gauge for needling
very fine fibers and for needling pre-felts.
Use the Fine Star for
attaching fine fibers and for detail work.
The coarse needles are good
for preliminary work, using them for deep penetration necessary to form the
shape. The finer needles are better for detail work after the felt is
already partially hardened by the coarser blades. You do not need to
penetrate too deeply into the felt surface to add details. A finer gauge
will leave less of a hole.
Be sure to take a look at all
the beautiful Corriedale Wool colors available under the Corriedale Wool
Link.

Round Nose Pliers
These round nose pliers are my choice for turning Cotter Pins. Not only can
they be used for turning pins, but they can also be used as regular pliers
(for pulling needles through etc...). The round design of the nose makes it
easy to turn the cotter pins. This is a nice multi-function tool. 4-1/2" in
