Here are some Specialty Threads that you can use for giving your thread animals a different look. Use them alone or in combination with other threads. Before you order please read the information regarding what is required to complete one bear. It takes on average 150 feet to make one bear. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

"Kid Merino " 

Kid Merino by Crystal Palace is a lace weight, fingering weight blend of 28 % Kid Mohair, 28% Merino Wool and 44% Microfiber Nylon. You can make your thread animals with just this thread alone or you can use it in combination with other threads for a unique look. It works well with punch thread. This thread will also brush for a furry appearance. 

There is approximately 240 yards/25 grs. in one ball. 

That's enough for 5 or more bears!

"CHENILLE THREADS"

This is a nice very thin chenille thread and is soft to the touch.

"BEARY FINE THREADS"

This is a wonderful thread for making bears and it is very soft to the touch. This tiny eyelash thread will give your bear a natural furry look. It is a very fine thread. Use it alone or combined with other threads for a unique look.

Tentakulum Flower Thread

These variegated 2 ply flower threads are individually hand painted and imported from Germany. The thread is soft and drapes well for making clothes for your thread crochet bears/animals.  The thread is comparable to size 16 perle cotton thread. It comes in 50mm (approximately 164 feet) skeins. The colors change quickly so it makes for a nice variegated look. Here is a picture of a dress I made from the Kandinsky color. 

Please keep in mind your thread might not look exactly as the ones pictured here  due to the nature of hand painting. No two skeins will look alike. I have a limited supply of this thread. Please click on pictures for a larger view.

"BEARY SOFTY THREADS"

Beary Golden Stardust Thread

NEW - Beary Golden Stardust Thread. This thread is very similar to the Beary Fine Threads shown above. It is a beautiful top quality thread. It has filaments mixed in that add a touch of sparkle to it. It will give your bears a nice furry look that has a soft shimmer. The picture does not do justice to the beautiful shimmer of this thread.
