“Simon Miniature Thread Crochet Bear Pattern”

"Simon, (and his sister
Simonne) says "Look what I can do! I have thumbs!" Simon says
"I can give you a thumbs up!" Simon or his sister Simonne will
give you a "thumbs up" when you make this adorable little
bear...Think of the possibilities and all the things that they can do
with opposable thumbs! These wonderful little bears will hitch a
ride right into your heart as you bring them to life. And of course when
it is your very own little bear, he or she might whisper in your ear
that his/her name is not Simon or Simonne at all but something quite
different altogether, for that is the very special magic of bears. But
until that great time comes Simon (Simonne) says "Take me home and
bring me to life!" and who could be mean enough to say
"No" to that little face?"
The head in this pattern has a
different twist to it and it is a little different from other crochet bear
heads you may have made. It is a one piece head design that has an unusual
step to it! It's finished look has a higher forehead which gives it an old
fashioned childlike appearance. The longer foot design will help your
bear to stand. And the thumbs (up) give it that finishing youthful touch.

is 8-1/2"x11". It is printed on heavyweight paper. It has a
protective clear cover on both the front and the back. The comb binding will
allow the pattern to lay open for easy use. The pattern is full of detailed
instructions, tips and pictures to help you on your step by step creation of
your own Simon or Simonne. If
