Acrylic Punch Thread In
color of your choice:
-
I used a Steel Crochet Hook Size 12 and
Purr-Fect Punch Thread in Nutmeg color for the medium size bear. A Steel
Crochet Hook Size 10 and 2 strands of Purr-Fect Punch Thread in Buttercrunch
color for the large bear, and a Steel Crochet Hook Size 15 and Cameo Luster
Thread in Cocoa color for the small bear. You can choose the colors you want
for your bear!
Stuffing:
Cotton, Polyfill or wool. Cotton will
give you a firmer pack with less tendency to show through the stitches. It
also holds shaping better.
Embroidery Floss: – For Nose and Accents.
Ribbon and/or bells: - Optional for accessorizing your bear.
2mm Black Onyx Beads or 2mm eyes on wire: – For eyes if using punch thread. Or size
needed for thread/yarn you choose.
Sharp Needle and/or Doll Making Needles:
- I find the doll making needles are best
for jointing and running
through the body.
Waxed Thread, Beading Thread or Upholstery Thread For attaching eyes and string jointing your bear.
Small Needle Nose Pliers or Cotter Key Tool: -
Used for turning the
cotter pin. You can also use it for helping
to pull the needle through the body when needed.
Scissors: - For
snipping threads & trimming
Nap Riser Brush: - For brushing out brushable thread
#10 and 12 Steel Crochet Hook:
- For use with punch thread. You may have to adjust your
hook size according to the thread you use.
2 - 1/4” Discs and 1 - 1/2” Cotter Pin for jointing
