Hi, my name is Debi McCarthy-Beckett and I have been addicted to crocheting and crafts since I was 12 years old. It is almost a form of meditation for me as I get lost in creating something. I find it gives me the time out I need from this hectic world. My tiny teds are usually 2 ½" or less in size. They are created from my own design and imagination. As I start them, they each seem to take on a life and soul of their own. They always seem to let me know how they want to turn out! I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I did making them. They are created with love, mixed in with some colorful threads, a dash of fun, a tiny hook, a pinch of imagination and scoops of time.

       I am also pleased to let you know that I had an article written about me in the September 2005 Teddy Bear Scene Magazine. It was such an honor to be in this magazine. If you would like to read the article you can get a PDF copy of it here.

       For those of you who are interested, I sell supplies and some patterns on this website for making your own miniature bears or other animals from thread! I hope you give thread crochet bear making a try. But let me warn you now... these tiny little creatures are very addicting. Once you start you never want to stop! Pretty soon they take over your house and your life.
