“April Miniature Thread Crochet Bear Pattern”

I am very happy to offer you a new thread crochet bear instructional book with full pattern. April is a special little bear. She was a design I created to teach a class on how to make a thread art bear at the IDEX Doll & Bear Show in Vegas in June 2007. I was there as a representative for the Thread Artist Guild©. This pattern is available in a printed book form, on CD or as a PDF download. See below for more information. 

You can make your own cute little April Bear with hat and neck flower similar to the one that is shown on the cover of the pattern. The pattern contains 10 pages of detailed instructions and pictures to help you make your own bear. The head is made in a one piece style and it is disc jointed to the body. The arms and legs are thread jointed. Once the bear is completed you will be able to pose it in many positions. 

I have included two versions of the hat pattern in the book. By changing the type of thread or yarn you use and your hook size your bear can be made into many different sizes and textures. The bear pictured was made with acrylic punch thread and she stands a tiny 1-3/4" tall. The pattern is printed on heavy 8-1/2" x 11" paper. It is in a combined book form which will lay flat when open for ease of use. There are many tips and some diagrams included in the book to help you with your step by step creation of your own April Bear. You can also apply all the information and tips to any other thread art bears or animals you make in future. See pictures below as an example of a bear made from the pattern along with the two hat styles. 

Acrylic Punch Thread was used on the bear pictured in this pattern.

The Pattern Book is 8-1/2"x11". It is printed on heavyweight paper. It has a protective clear cover on both the front and the back. The comb binding will allow the pattern to lay open for easy use. If you order the pattern in book form I will also include one set of 2mm Onyx eyes, one set of pre-cut white ultrasuede for under the eyes, and a disc and cotter set to help with the creation of your April Bear.
